Both Jamestown Cottage and The Old Schoolhouse are available to rent the whole year round.

Rental period

Weekly bookings normally begin and end on a Saturday, although alternative start and end dates may be possible depending on availability.

Shorter breaks may be possible but are subject to availability. Please enquire.

Arrival and departure times

Occupancy is from 4.00 p.m. on the day of arrival until 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure.

Rates

Rates vary between £400 and £450 (incl. VAT) per week depending on season and number in party.

Rates for Christmas/New Year/Easter and short breaks may vary - please enquire.

Rates are inclusive of VAT, bed linen, towels, electricity, heating and logs. A starter pack of washing-up liquid, toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets and cleaning materials is provided.

Confirmation of bookings

Telephone bookings must be confirmed within 7 days by completion of a booking form.

A deposit of £150.00 is payable to secure a booking. In the event of cancellation, we regret that this deposit cannot be refunded unless we can re-let the cottage.

The full balance of payment is due 21 days prior to arrival.

Damage to furnishings

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to furnishings, fittings and equipment that occurs during their stay and a charge will be made for any such damage. Guests are asked to treat the property with respect and to report any breakages or maintenance issues.

Other terms

  • We regret that dogs, cats and other pets cannot be accommodated at either Jamestown Cottage or The Old Schoolhouse.

  • Guests are requested not to smoke inside either of the cottages.

  • Due to its remote location, we regret that there is no mobile phone reception at Jamestown Cottage or The Old Schoolhouse.
    A landline phone is available for use by guests.

  • Guests are asked to leave the cottage as they would wish to find it.
